INTRODUCTION: A powerful symbol given to us from
scripture
is the Tabernacle of Moses. The revelation knowledge gained from a study on the
tabernacle will awaken astounding spiritual phenomena. The tabernacle, reveals
the perfect type and shadow of heavenly reality to come. In fact, the
tabernacle is an unlimited spiritual symbol holding many secrets of God's
kingdom within you.It was made the likeness of something and it was revealed
to Moses, that he should construct the tabernacle according to the "pattern"
he had seen on the
mount. It is important for us to understand this pattern.
Exodus 25:9 According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the
tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye
make
it. It was through this heavenly pattern God, Jehovah, would be able to dwell
among the people of Israel.
Exodus 25:8 And Let them make me a
sanctuary:
that I may dwell among them. The pattern, materials, ceremonies, priesthood,
offerings and every other aspect of tabernacle work symbolize the manifestation
of Christ being birthed in us, formed and matured by the Holy Spirit. Even
Jesus
taught that what Moses received from God spoke of Christ himself. Luke 24:27
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all
the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Luke 24:44 And he said unto them. These are the words which I spake unto
you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were
written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning
me.

God's tabernacle dwelling in the midst of Israel symbolized the day Christ
would
be revealed in us.
Jehovah revealed the pattern to Moses and designed it in
three sections. The tent was divided into two parts. The Holy Place and the
Holy of Holies. It stood within a fenced area called the outer court. Thus
there were three unique and distinct parts. Three is a divine number. It
reveals completeness and fullness. Understanding of the tabernacle will bring
us a complete and perfect knowledge of Christ. It is significant that St. Paul
declared. God would save our whole Spirit, Soul, and Body. A complete salvation
is threefold. We were saved, we are being saved and we shall be saved. The
three compartments of the tabernacle outline for us a journey into spiritual
transformation.
Each area contained divine furniture where the service of God was performed by
a chosen priesthood. The furniture pieces were as follows: In the Outer Court,
the brazen altar, where the sacrifices were offered. The brazen laver, which
held water for baptisms. The priests washed their hands and feet as they walked
between the outer court and holy place, to accomplish the service of God.
Deuteronomy 16:16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear
before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of
unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles:
and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:
We have touched upon how the
first two feasts spoken of in Deuteronomy, how they found spiritual fulfillment
in both Christ and the church. Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us and on
the day of Pentecost His Spiritual presence was revealed again to the 120
disciples in the upper room. Now two thousand years later we are being drawn to
the upper chamber of spiritual habitation. All His sons must appear before him
in the feast day of tabernacles and they must not appear empty. Meaning the
life we present to Him at this time should be full of Him and nothing else.
The feast connects us with the experience of the third heaven, the catching up
to Christ in the air is the realization of your true Christ (self) in
perfection, fullness and maturity. BOOTHS: On the fifteenth day of the seventh
month was the feast of tabernacles or booths. In order to celebrate this
properly, the people were commanded to gather branches from goodly trees, palm
trees, thick trees, and willow trees, Then they constructed a booth and dwelt
in the booth to commemorate how Jehovah dwelt in a tent of skin as they
journeyed through the wilderness. Note how many significant facts, the feast
reveals as the process of growing up into Christ and putting on life and
immortality.To be continued...
