5426. phroneo, fron-eh'-o; from G5424; to exercise the mind, i.e. entertain or have a sentiment or opinion; by impl. to be mentally disposed (more or less earnestly in a certain direction); intens. to interest oneself in (with concern or obedience): set the affection on, (be) careful, (be like, be of one, be of the same, let this) mind-ed, regard, savour, think.

5424. phren, frane; prob. from an obsol. phrao (to rein in or curb; comp. G5420); the midrif (as a partition of the body), i.e. (fig. and by impl. of sympathy) the feelings (or sensitive nature; by extens. [also in the plur.] the mind or cognitive faculties): understanding.

5427. phronema, fron'-ay-mah; from G5426; (mental) inclination or purpose: (be, be carnally, be spiritually) mind (ed).

5428. phronesis, fron'-ay-sis; from G5426; mental action or activity, i.e. intellectual or more insight: prudence, wisdom.

LIVING ABOVE THE CHAOS:

Chaos: state of things in which chance is supreme; nature that is subject to no law or that is not necessarily uniform. State of utter confusion completely wanting: order, sequence, organization or any predictable operation.

Ecc.9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

THE MYSTERY OF TIME AND CHANCE:

The book of Esther reveals the hidden mysteries of the power of CHANCE. The plot by Haman (Adam, Lucifer) to defeat God's people was conceived by the casting of Lots. He was playing a game of Chance in deciding when to destroy the Holy Seed. That is not history, it is Present truth. Even today the power of darkness believes that the Chance of any people rising up into Christ is thwarted and that the odds are in his favor...It will never happen.

"Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is all." 2Thes. 2:4

"This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish." James 3:15

ABOVE: a higher place: directly over, farther ahead. Seek those things, which are ABOVE? The questions we ask along the way are also a sacred part of this journey into the meaning of the Word. What are "things from above?" Are these things outside of ourselves or is the Kingdom of God within you?

"Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none other. " Deut. 4:9

He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. John 3:31

"And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world." John 8:23

Jesus answered and said unto him; Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again (the correct word used in the scripture means: above) he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3
