Our Spiritual Vision for NOW:
This book describes the conquest of the land of Canaan, under the leadership of Joshua, and the nation of Israel. This land was promised to Abraham and his seed by Jehovah, there were previous inhabitants to the land. Israel was commanded to throw out these inhabitants and occupy the land for themselves.
The record of these events are the Book of Joshua and begins; a new era in the history of God's people. Moses had been their beloved deliverer from the slavery in Egypt to this time forty years later. Being baptized into the Water and the cloud of Moses. They did eat of the same spiritual meat and drink the waters, which were Christ. He made them a spiritual nation of Kings and Priests. (I Corinthians 10:1,2)
Joshua had been with Moses, since the time of Egyptian bondage and especially after the giving of the ten commandments. During the wilderness wanderings he remained an extremely faithful, useful brother and prophet to the plan of God. Thus his writing is an important part of transition and TRANSFORMATION.
The Book of Joshua is a spiritual roadmap that reveals the way of establishing Christ's full and glorious presence to every aspect of your earthly life so that the two become ONE. The teaching of this sacred WORD IS NOT HISTORY. it is present truth. Relevant to the hour you and I are living in today. The nature of Prophesy or inspired Godly speaking is that it is always becoming true in every generation. Now we are standing at the threshold as well. Through the revelation of the new covenant we can apply the Light of Understanding to this ancient text allowing the dialogue of the Holy Spirit to catch us up into the third heaven realm of salvation.
Israel had to move beyond its previous manifestation. The nation was coming to a new experience of Identity. Moses was dead. The old is past and gone. NOW go over with Joshua. This represents a powerful change of consciousness from flesh to Spirit. From selfish Adamic, natural carnal thinking to selfless life giving salvation minded.
This ministry comes forth with new elements of the baptism- FIRE. The fire of Spiritual reality begins to purge us of the old mind be it religious, political, economic or socially orientated. This process is called TRANSLATION.
The book of Joshua contains " Hidden Wisdom.” A salvation ready to be revealed from heaven is upon us.
Canaan represents a type of Spiritual consciousness; the Heavenly sphere of being where your Identity and culture is allowed to grow and prosper; it symbolizes the whole land of Christ consciousness.
As we travel with Israel and Joshua we will meet resistance to awakening to life and reality; but the land is promised by the Most High. It is our reality. This land of complete salvation is purchased by Jesus Christ the liberator of all creation. What previously occupied this place is of no consequence NOW. Today is the Day.
