ANGELFIRE AND THE SMOKE IN THE TEMPLE: BY PETER DEMETRIS
INTRODUCTION: For I would say unto you, saith
the Lord, that my name is HOPE, I am an expectation of great reward, my
riches are worthy to be esteemed, they are worthy to be valued in your
hearts and minds. My name is HOPE and I shall bring confidence to thy
heart, and I shall surely bring an expectation to you. Trust me, watch
me, observe my ways, and I will thrill your soul, saith God. Even if you
feel trodden, even oppressed, I shall make a way that no man could show
thee saith God. Trust me and think not, think not upon the ways that has
walked, think not upon the way that I have led thee, think not upon the
things that trouble you for I am the Lord and surely there is no other
but me saith God. I have chosen to speak with thee for I have called thee
to myself. Therefore open thine eyes and I will heal thee, open thine
heart and I will quicken thee. Open thine ears and I will make thee hear
me saith the Lord. And you shall know me the Lord, saith God.
Believest thou this Saith God?
Beleivest thou that I am able to do this? For I say unto thee that my
name is Resurrection. Thou has walked through the valleys and shadows
of death: I know thou has walked there, saith God, for I am in thee and
I am with thee. Yea fear none of these things that have come upon you
saith God. Let not thine own voice be a dismay unto thee saith the Lord.
Let not thy own heart doubt thee, yea, for I am greater then thy own heart,
saith the Lord. Therefore I say unto thee, fear not the losses of darkness
for you are gaining the riches of life, which are eternal and forever
saith the Lord.
Our text will be taken from
Revelation chapter one, and the words that I will show you, the clarity
of its expression, the literal spiritual interpretation of these words
are living fire, sacred fire.
“Do not be fooled, saith God I am not kidding. Be not fearful for
I bid you to come, But I say unto you don’t be foolish, cleanse your
hands and heart. Satan is subtle, saith the Lord it is his subtlety that
is deceiving. Subtlety can not be known for that is its nature, it is
subtle. Therefore be swift to hear and slow to speak. And quiet your hearts
and open them to me and I will surely pour forth an ointment into thy
being, yea a healing balm, my own presence saith God. Yea you shall rejoice
in knowing me like you have never known me before. But do not be foolish,
for I tell you that I am a living fire. Is not my word saith Jeremiah
like a fire and like a hammer that can break rock into pieces? Therefore
let my spirit smite thee,
for I shall surely heal thee. But truly if the Lord hath smitten thee
who shall be able to make thee whole, if the Lord has smitten thee. Is
it not written come let us return to the Lord for he has smitten and he
shall heal and bind us up. Do not be fearful nor condemn thyself, for
if I have not condemned thee , then let no one else condemn thee, But
walk circumspectly, yea, carefully, with wisdom, knowledge and intelligence
and I shall show thee a spiritual skill saith God, and I will enlighten
thee and enChrist thee and give life to thy soul.”
Revelation1:1-3 The Revelation of Jesus Christ...
This is to be, even as there
has been, a revelation, an unfolding, an unveiling, a seeing into clearly
and with knowledge, the Lord Jesus Christ. There is to be a revelation
of His person, His presence, His power, His glory, His judgment, His perception,
His great light upon the earth, beyond His immediate presence that is
in the earth today. There is to be a revelation that is perfect, complete,
pure, transparent, and beyond the ability of man to think it or make it
happen. “For I shall do it saith God.”
Revelation 1:1 “The revelation
of Jesus Christ which God gave unto him, to show unto his servant’s
things which must shortly come to pass…”
God revealed this to Jesus
first. He revealed this to the Lord Jesus first and He did it to show
unto His servant’s things which must shortly come to pass. The reason
this revealing is given to Jesus, was so that he could teach it to His
servants those things which would shortly come to pass. And only the Holy
Spirit can teach the message of Jesus Christ, for He doesn’t come
to speak of Himself, He comes to speak of Him alone. And this is not a
superstitious, fabrication of carnal minds concerning the Lord Jesus,
but t is His own person speaking through man to man, that they might repent
and turn their lives over with joy.
Revelation 1:1b …and he
sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John
God, in this day, of John’s
experience, sent by a spiritual language, signified or a message written
in signs, its own language, a message to reveal Jesus. Not just talk about
Him, but reveal Him, and uncover that potent energy of His Holy Spirit
in His priesthood upon the earth.
Revelation 1:2 “Who bare record of the word of God, and the testimony
of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.”
Now when did John bear record
of this ministry? Not just here but when the Word was made Flesh, and
they beheld His testimony, they beheld His tabernacling among themselves
and he said, We saw the Word of Life, we handled it, we touched it, we
witnessed it. He said he gave this Revelation of Jesus now sent by spiritual
sign to John, who also had already born testimony to the record of the
Word of God, which was made flesh, a mystery among all men.
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he
that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep
those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
I want you to realize I am
his servant even as you are within yourselves, even as the Lord is totally
and immediately aware of your life and your need: you might ask how such
things can help you, but I tell you, don’t reason it receive it and
I promise you in the name of the Lord you will be made whole. Prepare
a season of life; this is a season of preparation to hear these words.
“Blessed is he that read and they that hear the words of the prophecy…
this prophecy.” It is so important not only to read but to hear the
words of the prophecy.
AND THE DOOR WAS OPENED
The message contained herein is a furthering of the beginning of the gospel.
It is to be a fulfilling Word, a message which will anoint a people to
allow Christ fulfillment within them. And it is present truth a progressive
reality, and whatever commentaries have been previously written and spoken
concerning this, there is abundant measures of truth from both historical,
present, future prospective, as well as individual and universal applications,
but…
I say unto thee, this shall
be an open door unto thee, to work in your life as pure water cleanses
your being.”
Because this book, and the
full weight of its intent brings the Holy Spirit’s presence to your
life, and because it shall bring that presence in a much more enlarged
fashion, it is now needful for you, who really are really seeking Him,
to know the need and the realities of His appearing.
So begin preparing for it, for even John was sent to prepare a people
for the appearing of the Lord. And in this historical sense, we see it
fulfilling itself everyday now through us to prepare us for a further
appearing of his presence. Truly though you must prepare the way.
For the entire Word of God
is present truth and every element of the prophets represents an element
of the apothecary of God’s Word, which is being mixed within us.”
You have been given many precious
gems of substance of my Life saith the Lord, yea, by my word. I have deposited
within you much truth about my person, presence, and power, and I shall
surely mix this within thee with my faith to raise (again whose faith)
up my presence, beyond what you have previously known. For it is written
that it shall come to pass.
PREPARATION FOR HIS APPEARING
Malachi 3:1 Behold I will send
my messenger, and he shall prepare the way for me…”
>Who is that messenger? Only
they which prepare the way for me, saith the Lord. But in the economy
of men they only prepare the way for themselves. They are only interested
in themselves; they only want to prove themselves. They are not interested
in preparing the way for me. But I have sent one to you that is surely
most truly preparing my way, saith the Lord. And who is that one sent…
Jesus my son. He has gone before to prepare the way of the Lord and yea
all them that are like Him do so as well.
For we who have first believed
have received an inheritance in the gathering process. The Word of God
states that he will send His messenger and that one shall prepare the
way before Him. Malachi 3:1 …and the Lord
who you seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of
the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold he shall come saith the Lord
of hosts.”
Know ye not that ye are the
temple I appear in saith the Lord. Know ye not that ye are the temple
of the Holy Spirit. Therefore I will come to you if you believe for I
have sent my messenger to prepare the way so that my appearing may come.
If the riches that you desire are carnal
then you miss what the HS. Is saying, for this is a calling to know me,
saith the Lord.
Notice not many noble are called nor many mighty, are called. Why because
they have too much on their minds. But the broken and the wounded have
need of a physician, and them I make whole. Being strong through wholeness
is to easy saith God, but glorifieth my name through weakness and strength
is made perfect. Behold I will send my messenger and he will prepare the
way before me and the Lord whom you seek shall suddenly come to His temple,
even the messenger of the covenant, Jesus said, I make a new covenant
with you.”
So when it says the messenger
of the covenant will come, it is specifically referring to the Lord Jesus
Himself coming to personally witness of His blessed presence in your temple.
Oh I tell you people one moment’s look beyond the veil is worth a
lifetime of suffering. Not that we have suffered a lifetime or will have
to, but what I am saying is the one moment of Glory would condition you.
And this promise of His coming is made by the Lord of Hosts. Who is the
Lord of Hosts? You know you have the Holy Ghost, drop the G and you have
the Holy Host. The Holy Spirit in you is speaking to you of the one that
will come to you. And Malachi continues with very deep thought.
Malachi 3:2 But who may abide the
day of His coming? And who shall stand when he appears? for he is like
fuller soap..”
And He is not just speaking
of the day of the Lord, but he is speaking of the day the Lord comes to
you. Who will abide? The lord has come to many, how many can abide? Why?
Because who shall stand when He appears? And if you are not willing to
be flattened, I can absolutely guarantee you, you will not stand. Because
who can stand when He appears? What does it mean that he is like refiners
fire and like fullers soap? It means that when light comes it exposes
the darkness. The darkness is not something you can avoid, it is something
you were created out of, therefore it must show itself.
So who can stand that honesty?
Who can truly stand seeing what they really are? Who can abide even the
Lords Holy Love…loving you while you yourself roast you in the fire,
burning because of what is in your mind. I tell you the
Lord has come to us over and over again and many have not been able to
bear, they would rather have the rocks fall on them then to just let him
burn the dross.
Prepare your minds smith God
for the day is at hand. You must learn to quiet yourselves, for in quietness
salt thou are restored. Thou arêt anxious about many things, do
not be anxious for ye shall not achieve one cubit to your stature through
your anxiety. Just be still.
Our Lord Jesus is totally pure,
in that there is no lie in Him. There is only His delivering power. But
in that light He is like a refiners fire.
Malachi 3:3 He makes that metal,
that nature typical f his redemption. He shall cause your redemption to
be refined, to be constantly clarifying itself within you. He is speaking
here of our identities, because the only clash exists when we think of
ourselves in a fleshy sense rather then realizing our true nature.
Malachi 3:3 …and he shall
purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they
may offer unto the Lord an offering of righteousness.”
He is not going to purify the
world; the world is not presenting themselves to Him to do so. You who
are presenting yourself I say to you do so in vain. Who shall give you
the value and the measure of your life if you don’t believe in yourself?
“If you believe according
to your flesh, it will deceive you and corrupt your walk, saith God. How
many more illustrations do you need to see that is true.” Can I lie
smith the Lord? I can not lie and I have not told you a new thing but
that which was from the beginning, even as the prophet Isaiah said Come
let us reason together, though your sins be scarlet, I will make you white
as snow. Who could tell you this saith the Lord? Who could make that true
except you believe in my true identity. Then if you believe why do you
still walk in the world according to touch not taste not why do you still
strive for flesh and recognition? Why are you not happy that I would speak
to you saith God, and give you my life that is eternal and true. Is it
not because I must clean you. Let me clean you saith God, let me renew
your mind, let me change you, that I might glory, and you might glory
with me…in that power. Why seek mans approval? Seek me, and you shall
know me.
It states that we may offer unto the Lord. What are we offering unto the
Lord… Our life, our life style, our home, hopefully our families,
and perhaps all that we do in our jobs. We must offer that to the Lord,
otherwise you are still living in yourself. Whatsoever thou doest do unto
the Lord. Do all things unto the Lord with a thankful heart, then your
offering will be right. Malachi 3:4 Then shall the offering
of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old,
and as in the former years.”
There was a day when the people
worshiped me there was a day when the people knew me in spirit and in
truth. There was a day when they left Egypt and worshiped me, even in
the wilderness. There was a day they believed me and crossed the Jordan,
There was a day they believed my word and defeated Jericho. Are you hearing
me, saith the Lord? There shall be a day in your life when you shall surely
know that you have conquered by thane own hand through my spirit saith
God. Is not that worth waiting upon me? For who shall give you such great
honor and glory as my own person as reward? No one saith God. I have called
you no one else. Malachi 3:5 …and I will be
a swift witness against the sorcerers and against adulterers, and against
false swearers the soothsayers and the sorcerers that sell my people for
nothing. They steal their money and give them no substance.
For I will show you the difference
between me and all adulterers false swearers, the soothsayers and the
sorcerers that sell my people for nothing. They steal their money and
give them no substance.
The reality of the truth comes
forth in enlightenment. Who can abide that day? I am telling you fall
to the ground and let it smite you, don’t try to lay hold of it,
don’t try to touch it, does not appear for you to lay hold of Him,
He appears to show you. Let it humble you.
Malachi 3:6 I am the Lord I change
not: therefore the sons of Jacob are not consumed…
Meaning… “My purpose
and intent has not changed, what I had ordained from the beginning is
what I am ordaining today. It is no secret any longer, I have ordained
Christ. Therefore the sons of Jacob are not consumed”
Malachi 3:7-9”Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from
mine ordinances and have not kept them. Return unto me and I will return
unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, wherein shall we return?
* will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say wherein have we
robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.9 Ye are cursed with a curse for
you have robbed me, even this whole nation.”
Now in the day of this prophecy
it was true and I want to tell you that it is still true today. The nation
of the church is robbing God of His tithe, because the tithe is not the
ten percent allotment that people think they can give to God, the tithe
is the representative number of the substance of people. Isaiah said a
tithe would return unto Him and His substance would be within them. The
tithe is the people itself. He says-
Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes
into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house…”
Where is the meat of the house?
It is robbed because they won’t give their life to the Lord. He says,
“Bring me your tithes.” Bring the Lord of Hosts the substance
that you represent of Him…to His house.
Malachi 3:10 “…and prove
me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows
of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough
to receive it.”
You can canalize this if you
want and believe it will be an overdose of lottery winnings. But there
is not a man alive that has got more money that he has no room to contain
he has to keep building bigger barns and storing it up more. What can’t
contain what he is going to give is this temple. This is the limitation
upon his unlimited spirit that is going to be poured out and you will
burst from the seams.
Malachi 3:11 And I will rebuke
the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your
ground: neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the
field, saith the Lord of Hosts.”
Malachi 3: 12-14 And all nations
shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delight some land, saith the
Lord of hosts. 13 your words have been stout against me,saith the Lord.
Yet ye say, what have we spoken so much against thee? 14 ye have said,
it is vain to serve your God: and what profit is it that we have kept
his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?”
